Fall Foliage in Rocky Mountain National Park

It’s officially fall, Jess and my favorite season. What better way to celebrate than to go for a drive looking at all the leaves changing colors? Well that’s exactly what we did.

It’s still relatively early for the leaves to be changing, so our best bet was to head north. Jess and I set out on Saturday, September 24 for Rocky Mountain National Park, via the Peak to Peak Byway.

The Peak to Peak Byway took us right into Estes Park, where we stopped for some lunch. After lunch, we headed into the Park and took Trail Ridge Road all the way around and then headed south past Grand Lake, through Granby, Winter Park and Empire on our way back home.
